Verveine

Pretty much does what it says on the tin. This is the old Verveine factory (a type of liqueur) in Le Puy. It is now used by Banque Populaire, a place that was initially the bane of my life. This is it on a super cold morning, I was on the way home after my 8am lesson, don't think I'll ever get used to those starts!

At 9.30, I met Cristel because she wanted me to do a recording of I Have a Dream to use with her premiere class. It was very exciting getting to be Martin Luther King for a while, hate the sound of my own voice. The speech doesn't have the same impact when read in twee and posh high pitched English! Managed to plan a few lessons afterwards though and then had a lesson with Isabelle who is not at all useful. Her classes are not interesting, I don't know how she expects them to learn. Everyone spends their time moaning, Isabelle included!

Afternoon college class was good, used the staffroom there to plan a few lessons then went to the swimming pool. Rewarded myself with black pepper Boursin. Almost a productive day.
