Portobello Beach Edinburgh Day105

Milder this morning - only -2. This view to the east shows the Joppa Rock formation emerging from the ebb tide. The steam from Cockenzie Power Station suggests it is busy helping keep Edinburgh warm. I believe this power station is due to be demolished in two years' time to be replaced by an even more environmentally friendly one.

I resisted the temptation to delay posting this blip until 12 seconds past 12 minutes past 12 on 12th of 12th month of twenty twelve. (12.12. GMT 12/12/12!)
