Stone the...

...crows. We've now had 5 of them - two pairs and a singleton - trapped inside in the last few weeks. Today's one was lucky. We spotted him quite soon after he came in, and after catching him with a laundry basket (you can see the bars of that behind him and reflected in his eye) we held him out the window in that. The poor things was in state of shock, I think; he sat there in the open basket for several minutes (enough time for me to fetch my camera) before eventually flying off.
