In With The New . . .

Our new bed arrived today! At one point we had in our house a team of three men doing the exit and entrance hoists of the old and new mattresses, respectively, AND a team of three assembly-men from the supplier.

The bed seems to be good quality from top to bottom . . . the wooden base has slats and an independent spring structure, and that's in addition to the multi-spring main mattress (stiffer at the edges where you sit) and then the body moulding top mattress - all in the extra which shows that the bed actually fits in the alcove part of our bedroom (the bed measure 180 x 200 cm (6ft by 6ft 7inches).

For the record, the other extra shows half of the old base being lowered to street level.
