Visiting Yuen Long and Tsuen Wan

Had a day out with Sharon and Mike and Sharon’s mother, who is visiting from Australia. Escaping the high summer temperatures for cooler climes.

We went to the brass factory in Kam Tin, and had a lovely Chinese yum cha lunch.

Since we were out there and Mike was driving, I suggested visiting the Yuen Yuen institute that CB Links had been to on their recent trip.

We eventually got there in spite of satnav driving us around in circles all quite impressed with what we found. Sharon’s mum couldn’t get around too much, and we were super proud of what she could do. Hope to visit again and spend more time exploring.

We then headed back to Lantau and caught up with Martin who hiked across to Mui Wo. We ended the evening with sundowners on their roof top. Incredibly pleasant.
