Smiley face

We didn't feel like shovelling the rest of the driveway today. I did a few things around the house this morning, then went out with the camera for a few minutes. I spotted someone shovelling the shared part of the driveway - aha, the neighbour who is renting the house next to us! The house has been on the market since late last July and we'd heard that it had sold but is being rented short-term. A very nice young woman was working on the last bit of the driveway that we'd decided not to shovel today because we both needed a break. She said that it was hard to shovel (no kidding!) and they were going to give their son $20 for doing it. He'd shovelled for about half an hour and gone into the house crying because it was so hard. He came out while we were talking, and it was nice to meet both of them.  We had already shovelled the part closest to the road so there wasn't a lot for them to do. They aren't going to bother shovelling their driveway. 
They've only been renting since November and this is the first time I've seen anyone over there. The buyers take possession on April 4. 
I was so happy to see them shovelling that I drew a happy face in the snow when I came back to our place after taking very few photos.  Feeling a bit lazy today.
