Slip sliding away

We were going to town with our neighbour Bill again, more for an outing than because we needed anything.  We walked up to his house to see the tree that had clipped the corner of his garage a couple of days ago. Minor damage, he thinks. The snow sliding off his metal roof looked really blippable, I thought. 
We had breakfast at Barb's and met Jeremy and Liz's 4-day-old baby - a real sweetheart! Picked up a few groceries then came home and tackled another part of the driveway.  Almost there!
We've had a mix of clouds and sun and sleet today, no snow.
Extras: the path to Bill's house with his car parked by the road because he's not going to shovel his driveway; the tree that came down; and Bill, our Uber driver (Ha!).  It's been great to be able to catch a ride with him.
