Spring preparations

This morning before church I decided to have a go at the Shrewsbury 10km route in preparation for the real thing in four weeks. It was brutal. The reason I never enter races in Shrewsbury is because there are far too many hills here. This route took in The Mount, Porthill, Kennedy Road, The Quarry and then a couple of little hills in the centre of town. It was good to get it done though and to have a better idea of where the tough bits are. And I snuck in under an hour. Chuffed.

After church I popped out to get some seed trays to get ready for planting. Percy Throwers has been taken over by a new company and it is terrible. TK MAXX had a better and cheaper range of garden paraphernalia. A tip for the local blippers. You’re welcome.

It’s half term but I have to work tomorrow. Boo!
