An important lesson learned today. Don't take the car out on a Sunday afternoon. I don't remember such a busy February day. 

We ended up at the south end of Thirlmere and wandered from there. We found a new track so decided to follow it. Thought it must have been for forestry purposes but when we reached the end there was a fenced area with barbed wire on the top. Signs said Radio Transmission equipment. I think 4G is coming to the valley.
