A dull morning but it brightened later. I even went out without a jacket on but soon realised my mistake and got it out of my rucksack.

Rather than stop at Waterhead I continued along the road and wandered up into Stagshaw (NT). I thought there might have been colour from the rhododendrons but most were still in bud and those in flower had been attacked by frost. An attempt at a collage but if you prefer a view across the lake there's one in extras. 

Edited and posted under the influence of a few glasses of wine. Honestly, I didn't intend to buy a bottle when I popped into Tesco on the way home.
