Ooooh!

Morning spent cleaning and making beds etc before collecting A and herfriends N&S from the airport. It was her friends’ first time in Edinburgh so we did a quick walking tour, stopping at the Glasshouse for prosecco on the roof garden looking up to Calton Hill. Not as sunny as recently but still very mild.
Met up with V at the bridal shop and A started trying various ones on, to loads of oohs and aahs from her entourage, bulldog clips to fit the dresses, giggles and (more!) prosecco. Ruled out quite a few styles and established some preferences but no ‘it’s the one!’ moments.
Off for a couple of cocktails in Bramble (so noisy and dark but they loved it), talking about inter-generational expectations and parenting, then V went off home and we went to El Cartel for tacos and margaritas. Delicious...
Home and relatively early to bed. Fun day!
