Day trip to Turin

We took a slow local train to Turin/Tourino. The Italians have a great system of trams (trolleys), buses, Metro (subway) systems, & trains.
We had a wonderful lunch and then dinner before leaving Turin. The people are warm & wonderful & love to share their history. Phenomenal architecture everywhere you look. Lunch was at a charming cafe off Centrale Sq -reminded me of the Cafes off St Marks Square in Venice. It was in an old house, beautiful old wood archways and cabinetry, fabulous painted ceilings in every room, graceful winding elegantly scrolled iron stairway in the back of the bar room . . . . all of it and our waiter Fabio, just wonderful.
