I let the train take the strain today and hopped a boxcar down to Sussex to visit my mum.

(OK, it was a Virgin Pendolino followed by a Class 377 Electrostar, but that doesn’t have quite the same romantic resonance! Aren’t you impressed by my extensive knowledge of rolling stock though?!)
