Flares are back

Okay I will definitely be back on site tomorrow. Caught up with a few emails, calls about up coming and current projects, sorted out some kit but nothing that actually puts dinner on the table. Of course a desk day does allow a quick morning stretch with the dogs, and what a beautiful morning.

Funny, the other night I saw Lady M's beautiful Edinburgh sun set and her own words suggested some concern about flare. Well clearly flares are back in fashion. This wee 20mm Sigma lens generates flare on a dull day if you aren't careful so this was a hopelessly optimistic shot straight at the sun.

Metering goes out the window too. Not for the purist but I quite like the accidental effect.
