Stourhead NT (Thursday 14th February 2019)
I met up with the Spotlight Kid at Stourhead today, a glorious sunny day. I know it is almost obligatory to include this Palladian bridge in any post taken there. I haven't gone through the pictures I took in full yet so I'm following protocol.
We also saw a number of extremely tame and obliging robins as we walked around the lake, so I have put one in Extras.
The other Extra was taken in Spout Lane in Sells Green on the way home.

Lozarhythm Of The Day:
The Premiers - Make It Me (recorded July 1965, Stax Recording Studio, Memphis TN)
These are not the Premiers who recorded Farmer John, but a vocal group who recorded one single for Stax. The line-up was Carita Harrison (lead vocal), her brother Eddie Harrison Jr (aka Elmo Harris, later lead singer in the Short Kuts)(high tenor), Fred Henderson (second tenor), Billy Moore (bass vocal) and Quincy Billops (baritone) who went on to join Stax group the Mad Lads. Make It Me was one of the earliest recorded collaborations between Stax songwriters Isaac Hayes and David Porter.
