Caen Hill (Wednesday 13th February 2019)
A beautiful, Springlike afternoon led me back to the top of Caen Hill as I returned from further afield, armed with my full-frame camera and widest lens. Although I didn't notice any evidence of the swans nestbuilding, they were in the side pond behind the lock where they habitually nest, so perhaps that is an encouraging sign. You can see them in the distance in the blip.
The picture in Extras was taken from the same spot but looking upwards towards Devizes.
By lucky chance I have taken a wide-angle picture on Wide Wednesday so I have entered it into the challenge, with thanks to the veritable host steveng.

Lozarhythm Of The Day:
Paddy McAloon - Esprit de Corps (2003)
When he wrote this Paddy McAloon was temporarily blind due to a detached retina and was spending most of his time in his room listening to lots of radio and assembling the music which was released on the album I Trawl The Megaherz from which this track is taken.
I heard it at the weekend because it has just been remastered, re-released and rebranded as by Prefab Sprout, the band of which McAloon is a member. He mentioned in the radio interview that I heard that he was inspired by John Adams, and I think that influence is very evident here.
