Big Buddha

This morning we woke up and decided to go and pay a visit to the big Buddha which is about 40 min drive away we hired a taxi to take us and wait and then bring us back to the hotel. The Buddha sits on top of a hill and can be seen around Phuket. It was very impressive and the views from the top were amazing! There was also a monk doing blessings but the queue was massive so I didn’t bother! There are lots of other Buddhas around the ground and a temple!

This afternoon was spent sat by the pool relaxing and enjoying our last full day.

Tonight we booked into a restaurant which was recommended called Joes Downstairs, it’s right on the coast overlooking the rocks and boats it was a lovely setting and the food was lovely.

After we went to a few bars where we have made some friends to say bye and Paul said we’ll be back next year I hope he means that lol!

Not flying until evening tomorrow so going to spend the last few hours soaking up the sun!
