Char Char the chef is in town!

Today was fun we went to a Thai cooking school, firstly we went to a local market to pick up all the fresh ingredients, the lady explained to us what all the different ingredients are and if we are able to get them at home. Then on to the cooking school first with made Tom Yum soup it was amazing defiantly making that at home beats a tin of Heinz! We then made spring rolls, first frying all the ingredients to go inside and once cooled we rolled the spring rolls and fried them, they were served with a sweet chilli dip which we bought as it beats ours at home. We then went on to make the main course I had green Thai curry and Paul had massamum curry both very yummy but I did prefer Pauls purely because it has potato in! For pudding we had sticky jasmine rice with mango and it was so nice it was a bit like rice pudding but with a lot more sugar! Can’t wait to try these out at home!

Tonight we didn’t feel like a big meal after today’s cooking so we went back to the Italian and had antipasti which was lovely followed by a few drinks in our fave bars!
