Year of the pig
I had a very busy day with A here in Liverpool. We took D to school then came back and watched last night’s episode of Shetland. Then we walked to the Anglican Cathedral, one of my favourite places. Afterwards we went to D’s school, the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts, AKA Lipa, they were showing the work they’d done for the Chinese New Year. It was very impressive seeing the results of hard work from pupils and teachers. We were treated to a display of tai chi and joined in painting terracotta warriors and dragons. Afterwards we walked down to the docks before meeting J and going for the best Indian meal I’ve ever had in a restaraunt called Mowgli. There’s an extra taken inside the cathedral and one of me and D enjoying desert.
