Road triiiiipppp! (By train)

A bus into town; met Her and her lass and her lass' friend at Waverley; and onto a 1012 for Carlisle; changed for another to Wigan NW and then after an hour waiting, a final train to Liverpool.

A bright day; and once we'd checked in we went for a dander about the docks; mostly things were closing but it was a gorgeous light; just happy to be milling about out.

Back in; they messed about on devices; we headed out for a chippy, then in for TV, and chat and a beer and yeah.... I've not been here since the 90's; a long overdue visit to somewhere I don't know nearly well enough.
