After a prolonged lie in wrapped up together with minimal interupption, we all had a cooked breakfast and after midday boarded a 19 to set about an epic trek about town.
To Orchrd Brae; then walked to Craigleith; dropped her lad's laptop (not literally; it was going in for repairs), bought a £4 hoodie and some new leisurewear trousers for her; then into town with the laundry; watched the end of a thrilling first half at Mrrayfield; me and the lads went off back to mine with the hoover; watched the 2nd half of the rugby; before depositing them up the road (we may have managed to wash the bikes quickly too)
And so to meet her in town at Advocates Close; handed over the day saver; took her bike on a photo finding mission; with some success. Locations will be revealed in the fullness of time.
To hers to drop the bike once she was in with G; and then - finally - boarded a 47 home.
I settled into yesterday's dinner that never got cooked (lamb skewers with parsley / mint/ giner / chilli / turmeric / yoghurt / garlic) and a tabbuleh ish thing. And 2 bottles of IPA and Sportscene and the rugby (the bits I missed which turned out to be quite a lot)
She leads the charge up Craigleith Road in finest CMC fashion
