Irene’s Hat

Well what a suprise. It was CCN and my first anniversary today and we invited some of our friends who were at our wedding at Wombat Hollow to join us to celebrate. We met down at the Megalong Tea Rooms and were greeted by a beaming Irene who came to afternoon tea wearing the same sensational hat that she had worn to the wedding last year. To top it off her husband Bob also came dressed in EXACTLY the same outfit. I’ve also posted a lovely happy image in extras with CCN and moi, Marg and Jim and Bob and Irene posing for the camera before we headed up the hill. Marg had also arrived bearing the most fantastic bucket of Blue Hydrangeas (our wedding flowers) which was such a thoughtful thing to do. It was a really wonderful and relaxing way to enjoy our day and to be honest it was great not to have to get up early to bake the good old Date and Lemon Scones.
Oh and Irene has promised to wear her fabulous hat next year as well :)
