Nursery Nativity

Although Ethan doesn't go to nursery on a Monday, today was the first of his two nursery nativity performances. As Foreveryoung looks after him on Mondays, she took him along there and hubbie and I took an hour out our work to go and watch too.

Unfortunately Ethan hasn't really learnt any of the songs, partly as he only attends nursery one day a week now and also because he has missed some nursery sessions recently when we were on holiday. He was also very tired today due to us getting back late from Gatwick last night- Foreveryoung had to wake him up at 8.30am! As a result of the tiredness and the change of routine, he burst into tears when he saw hubbie and I at nursery and spent most of the performance looking very sorry for himself. He also lost his reindeer mask while he was walking past us and as a result was the only child who was completely unreindeer like. Oh dear! Perhaps next year will be better!
