Flower Friday
I can't remember the name of this flower, or perhaps I mean the remains; it's coloured a delicate mauve when in bloom and I should know the name but I can't recall it. Looking round the garden today I thought it's probably the worst time of year for colour as all we have at the moment are heathers, snowdrops and pieris - the dogwood are looking nice but of course there are no flowers to be had there. I thought I'd blip this as it's a bit different.
This morning I got up intending to go walking but it's rained on and off all day and sometimes the showers were quite heavy - that and the fact I'm a bit stiff from yesterday's exertions have meant I've delayed and procrastinated until I left it too late. I'm looking forward to the weekend and seeing Jo and Ric which will be good, and I hope you'll all have a good weekend too.
Many thanks for visiting my journal. :-))
