Torchlight

Walking by torchlight (it's a powerful little torch) to the Village Hall for Book Group. We seem to have lost all our street lights now - the lights here are on buildings. The Village Hall is the black and white building on the left - the other white building on the right was once the school - now a house. 

The book we were reading was The Kashmir Shawl by Rosie Thomas. Easy to read and interesting, but far too long. We had a good discussion, but I don't think I will be looking for more of her books . . . and she's written a lot.
