Katherine’s Big Birthday

Having 4 children now over the age of the big five O, there is no way one can do the maths to make me anything other than old, very old. But there was nothing but delight at spending the day at Stobo thanks to the generosity of the latest member of the Fifties club. Katherine had invited her best friend, her eldest sister and me to join her for a day of pampering and treatments, interspersed with swimming and eating........ oh and a certain amount of drinking ( except for the car driver) thanks to the bottle of Prosecco sent by daughter #2 and the visit to the cocktail bar in the late afternoon.

It was a lovely day enjoyed by everyone, and the celebrations continue tomorrow when the we gather in Katherine’s Porty flat for the last of the celebrations before she jets back to Muscat on Saturday.
