What à difference à day makes, Mont Blanc should be visible over my shoulder. 
Perversely I quite enjoy skiing whilst it's snowing, especially now I have prescription goggles, but the rest of the Team weren't so keen. 

We skied with my aunt and uncle every year for a decade and a half, but then they started visiting the Southern hemisphere for winters. Last year we unexpectedly lost Tony, and then over Christmas my aunt suggested a ski trip, a journey out to our place, a journey T always wanted to make and now never will, so skiing really isn't the point. 
We've had lots of laughs, and a tear or two, but the laughter is winning.
