The Centre of the Universe

The Three Amigos are on a stopover back here with us before they travel on to their next adventure in the Lake District where, no doubt, they will get to see beautiful lakes and mountains and hopefully some snow.  They've had a great stay in a different part of Yorkshire with yeeeeed and even a bit of a roadtrip with yeeeeed's Dad yesterday.

They spotted me heading out to fill the bird feeders and expressed the desire to do some bird watching, but they kept jumping out of the tree in their excitement and scaring away the birds, so that was no blip!  Then I thought they needed a new box for their journey onwards, as their existing one is beginning to fall apart having travelled thousands of miles, so we took a walk down to the Post Office.  We are fortunate to still have a village Post Office and it is very much the centre of the universe, thanks to Rekha and Smiler. 

It was school's out time so the boys caused a bit of a stir amongst the children buying end of day sweeties, and they held up official Post Office business for a while choosing a new box (or was that me?)
