Watch the Birdie

I decided to move the bird feeder as I struggled to see it in its original location.  TJ took a bit of persuading, but it is now sitting on the decking in front of the kitchen doors (see Extra), where I can watch the action while eating a meal:-)  The main problem now is the leaded squares on the doors and windows, which make taking a photo quite a challenge, so I was pleased to get this shot of the little Blue Tit.

Loads of bird visitors today, including Great Tits, Blue Tits, Chaffinches, Siskin, Blackbirds, Wood Pigeons and our resident Robin.  Hoping to see other species once they all get used to its new location. Simba showed a passing interest, but just ignores it now and the birds don't seem bothered by him either.

Sunflower hearts seem to be the favourite food of all the birds, with the peanuts and fat balls getting a few takers and the non-mess bird seed hardly any:-)  They have expensive taste!
