Frozen in Time

I had an idea for Mono Monday, it was to take a colour shot of a fairly colourless subject. Unfortunately the subject I had in mind had nothing to do with the theme of the week which is "tension". Instead I have a frozen fountain. It is a bit of a stretch, but there must be some tension in the frozen pipes.

I was surprised to see the fountain still frozen as it has been slightly warmer, and the snow has been thawing, so there must have been a lot more ice a day or two ago.

The picture was taken as part of a detour after I had been to the supermarket.
