Afternoon frost

Church was very cold this morning and I was glad to get back to light a fire. The sun shone all day but the frost remained wherever there was shade and I had to tread carefully when out walking. I have a busy week ahead so was happy to settle down with my book and anticipate the last episode of Les Misérables.
