Albaicin

We arrived in Granada in thunderous weather and the snow was falling on the mountains but it didn't deter us from setting off immediately in the dusk to explore.

Difficult to capture the essence of Albaicin with its beautiful white houses and stunning views across to the Alhambra in the evening light shrouded in drizzle. This detail was from a door.
Later we ate in an Argentinian bar in San Miguel Bajo close to our hotel in Albaicin - the food and wine were excellent - I can strongly recommend the Valdepenas and the stuffed aubergine...
