Basking in the afternoon sun.

Many, many years ago I went by boat from Northern Scotland to Iceland.  The boat stopped at the Faroe Islands and all the passengers were chucked off for a couple of days while it nipped across to Bergen to pick up more passengers, before it returning to the Faroes to complete its journey northwards.

I've no idea what this is but I picked it up on a beach on one of the islands one day.  It's about 12" long and very light in weight.  

It won't be going to the charity shop or the dump. I'll find a place in the new house.
