Winter Walk

I decided to skip the shopping today and leave the car under its blanket of snow.  Instead I donned the thermals, found the wellies and headed up the hill to the ranges.

As expected blues skies and snow lent themselves to glorious winter vistas (extras), but my eye was caught by backlit foliage with icy diamond highlights.
