Boys vs girls

We headed out the afternoon for the first contest, boys versus girls. Apart from the wee man, there is no one who shares my love of the game, said he who goes to a game once every 4 years and watches no more than 2 whole games per year, in our family.

But that didn't stop them wanting to take me out. Madame especially with her toe bash punts straight at my face and the deliberate body checks, but the girls tried their best to trip me and the #1son up also.

It was a game of two halves, in the end the best team won.
