Down to the Forth

A quiet Saturday. A plumber was supposed to come around to discuss a new upstairs bathroom in the morning, but they didn't turn up. I did some bike maintenance.

In the afternoon, my partner and I went down to Stockbridge. There isn't much in the charity shops, which are quite busy. It feels cool, so its nice to head to a café for afternoon coffee. Afterwards, we head to one last charity bookshop, then head to the bus stop. There isn't a bus for a while, as we walk up to Queensferry Rd. From Dean Bridge, I get my blip looking down the Water of Leith towards the Firth of Forth.

In the evening, it's down to Morning for a birthday meal.

The day ends with a dram of whisky and Casino Royale.
