From Kendal Fell

Today's the day ............................. for a wintry walk

The days are so short now that if you set off for a walk after about two oclock, you are just going to catch the last rays of the sun before it dips down out of sight of the Kendal valley.

This was taken at about three oclock from Kendal Fell on a wintry, Sunday afternoon walk. The sun was still catching the top of the Kentmere hills but you knew you had to be quick.

Still something magic about it all though. Zoom in a bit here ..............................
