Light and Shade....

Light and Shade..... and spot the dog. Maisie and I took another early walk this morning to avoid the later heat of the day. Here she is standing on one of the big stepping stones waiting for me to throw a pebble into the water for her amusement. She looks as if she is wearing a tiny halo. But no, it is the tip of her tail caught in the light of a sunbeam.
We are officially in a heatwave. Hopefully the weather will cool down during the next few days.
