Webbing strap and rope

8.1C Very nice day with blue sky. Mild out of the wind, but in the wind ... chilly !

We went grocery shopping in Arbroath again and the blip is from our wander round the harbour afterwards. It was very bright when we were there, but over nearer the harbour wall we could feel the wind and its significant chill!

When we got home and the shopping was put away Apothecary7, Maeve the Deerhound, and I went for a walk before lunch. There were windproof jackets, and gloves. We followed our usual route to the shore via the field with the bridle path and as we walked down the field we watched the farmer ploughing and harrowing. He stopped at the end of each new furrow, dropped the harrow, spun the plough round to the other side, picked up the harrow, and set off again. All without getting out of the cab of the tractor. Impressive. Maeve stopped to watch, or it might have been the seagulls following the plough that caught her attention:-)

We didn't go over the level crossing and down to the beach or the Fishermen's huts. We just walked along in the cold wind and followed the circular route home. Suitably invigorating :-)

Later there will be a Thai Green curry with Chardonnay. Well, I was tea total for the chauffeuring last night :-)
