Birthday Flowers

Not quite the day we'd planned, but it turned into a rather nice birthday for me anyway.  The florists vans and postie were queuing up outside the door this morning to deliver so many lovely bouquets and cards, so I feel very grateful to family and friends for such lovely gifts.

TJ served me breakfast in bed, which was a real treat and then I got up to open the cards and put the flowers in vases.  Back to bed to catch up on some sleep and then a light lunch, followed by an afternoon of Trivial Pursuit, which we haven't played for ages.  The questions seemed really dated, so we must invest in some more recent ones:-)

Feeling fractionally better this evening, so stayed up to watch Silent Witness, but I'm fading again now so it's an early night for me.
