The only child V and I are likely to have has come to visit us again. He always comes at this time of year, from his home in a black bin bag in the loft.

He's not a bit of trouble, being happy to relax quietly in his corner of the settee in our lounge, although he does sit at the table with us to have Christmas dinner.
