Fortune Tellers

Meet Ivan and Olga, Russian fortune tellers. Well, not really, in real life they are Alex and Sarah, who were hired to play the part (may be there are no real Russian fortune tellers?) at the Hillwood Estates' annual russian winter festival.

If you ever find yourself in Washington, that place is well worth putting on your list of things to visit. It's a 25-acre estate, which was home to Marjorie Merriweather Post, who at the tender age of 27 became the sole heiress of the General Foods Corporation in 1914, and one of the richest women in the US.

She was a passionate collector of French and Russian art and her mansion is filled with it. The word opulence comes to mind. The gardens are equally magnificent, featuring garden "rooms" -- each with a distinct character.

Ahhh, to be rich in the richest country of the world...
