The Folly

Greetings! Today after a slow start (still in pjs at 11am) I went for a BIG walk with chum SJ and Sophie the dog. We did about 5.5km through lovely native forest at Mountstewart - I’m getting good use of my National Trust membership this month!

After walking for an hour and a half we went up to the ‘big house’ for coffee. This proved to be a good plan, as it was within half an hour of the cafe closing so we were each given a goody bag with two scones to take home!

We diverted up a small hill to visit the Folly. This is it.

I’m now home again and sipping one of the Ards Man’s famous gin cocktails. Cheers!
