his fluffy stockings, as that is ice on the loch behind him!
It was a misty, moisty, muggy morning and I got wet walking in 5cms of slush, as everything underfoot has begun to melt, all watercourses were full and ice patchy on lochs and tracks.
Encountered, one Ladybird, sheltering in a bolt hole, Crossbills, Snipe, Kestrel and a variety of Tits. These were all in an area I'm not familiar with, having had to walk there as the road I wanted was still snow bound.
Not much light, but 4C.
