Allt a’ Chaorainn
The day started bright and very cold (-7 C) where we were staying and so we decided to have a go at a couple of Munros in the Monadhliaths. We had intended to walk up A’ Chailleach and Carn Sgulain. We had not foreseen how much water was in the Allt a’ Chaoraiin and the ice on the boulders in the burn, so we ended up crossing much further up than we wanted so we had to double back to get up A’ Chailleach and took too much time to walk to the second hill. The cloud came and went but we had some good views and a leisurely walk back to the car. The blip is taken on the way up looking down the burn towards the Drumochter hills.
Yesterday’s blip.
