Creag Dhubh
After a little overnight snow it dawned bright so we decided to go up the Corbett of Carn an Fhreiceadain, the only hill nearby that we hadn’t been up. Our map is rather elderly so doesn’t have the track on it that goes up to the summit so we did a little bit of unnecessary cross country plootering through snow covered heather and grass before finding it again. Had we known we would have worn shoes rather than boots as they would have been more comfortable. As we went up the weather improved and we spent a great afternoon in the sun with mist in the glens and glimpses of other hills. The blip is of the wee hill, Creag Dhubh that is north west of Kingussie. The extra is taken as we were getting back into the glen and looking over the Spey Valley.
Yesterday’s blip.
