dinnertime

Busy wee Saturday.

The "highlight" was going to see Hearts v Aberdeen - yes, football. I was invited by a school friend, who has always been a Hearts fan. I was an Aberdeen fan when I lived there in the 70s, but these days I just find football too slow.

That's one of the problems with being an ice hockey fan. Anything else is like watching paint dry.

Great to spend a couple of hours with Derek, and nice of him to invite me.

On the way home I stopped at the Nepalese restaurant close to the station. Chicken khukhuri khukhara with lemon rice. Yummee!

I hadn't eaten since my (late & large) breakfast at the farm shop, so I was ravenous.
