Long day

Long, it great day. London for a course, my train got me to London early, so I had time to walk to the course and to enjoy a delicious (second) breakfast.

Interesting course, with lots of food for thought to ideas to take back to work.

Met a friend for a quick drink after the course before heading off to take part in the ‘hustings’ for the trustee-ship I’m on - it’s re-election time of year. I had some tricky questions to answer, but was relieved to feel totally capable of answering them and not at all nervous. I was congratulated for my handling of the questions by a couple of people I really respect, which ia good for the confidence.

Supper afterwards with a good friend.

All in all a busy day - think I will fall into bed when I get home!
