Tropical Breeze

A total chill out day. We spent the morning by the pool, half dodged a tropical rain shower then reluctantly went for lunch even though it really felt like we’d only just finished breakfast. A bit of time (avoiding the hottest part of the day) sat on our veranda looking out to sea and feeding the local birds (see extra). Then we set out for a championship round of mini golf. Despite two holes in one, I (Chris) still managed a win although well over par!

Early evening we headed for the beach hoping to see the pelicans fishing. It was a no show from them but we did see a 3 foot wide stingray right up near the shore. Very cool animals.

A BBQ beach party supper. As the sun set I couldn’t resist the silhouette of a palm tree against the distant hills.
