A Favourite……

I photographed this from a small parking bay along Wharf Road in Motueka, NZ. The water is part of the Moutere Estuary and the hills in the distance are the Western Ranges.

We often stop here. The estuary is tidal and presently the tides are higher than usual. Depending on the season, the sun sets somewhere along the range of hills. The scene and weather are never the same - and always magical.
